Grammatophyllum ‘Tiger’s Paw’
Make a bold statement with Grammatophyllum ‘Tiger’s Paw’, a striking hybrid orchid prized for its dramatic patterning and commanding presence. True to its name, each bloom showcases rich golden-yellow petals heavily marked with deep mahogany to chocolate spotting—reminiscent of a tiger’s paw print. The contrast is vivid, exotic, and impossible to ignore.
A member of the impressive Grammatophyllum genus—often referred to as “giant orchids”—‘Tiger’s Paw’ produces tall, arching flower spikes that can carry multiple long-lasting blooms at once. Mature plants become substantial specimens, developing thick pseudobulbs and lush, strap-like foliage that give them a tropical, architectural appeal even when not in flower.

Does Fairchild Grow the Plants it Sells?
Yes! Every single plant we sell is grown at our Nursery in Miami, Florida, by Fairchild’s horticulturists and volunteers.
How Does Fairchild Select the Plants it Sells?
Our plant experts are constantly testing and propagating new plants suitable for South Florida’s conditions with the goal of making them available for you to purchase. We grow plants for a variety of reasons, including rarity, pollinator attracting, native, fruit- or flower-bearing, uniqueness, beauty and more!
Can I Visit the Nursery?
While our nursery facilities are not open to the public, we do make a large selection of plants available for purchase online, in person at the Shop at Fairchild and multiple times throughout the year during plant sales. Check our plants sales calendar here.
Do You Deliver or Can I Pick Up My Order?
Both! We deliver locally within 15 miles of Fairchild, and you can also pick up your plants in person at the Garden.
When Will I Receive My Order?
Local Deliveries: Please note that we currently only deliver on the weekend. You will automatically receive updates as we process your order.
Pick Up: Orders may be picked up to 5 days from the Shop at Fairchild. You will automatically receive updates as we process your order.
Handling: Orders are typically readied for delivery or pick-up the week after receipt of your order.
Do You Ship?
Unfortunately, we don’t currently ship—but check back often because we are working to make shipping available nationwide. (Restrictions may apply.)
Will My Plant Look Exactly Like the Photos?
Our photos show various specimens for reference. Product listings also include an image showing the approximate size of the plant you will receive. Each plant is unique, and variations in color, size, and form are natural.
I’m a Fairchild Member! Am I Eligible for a Member Discount?
Yes! Fairchild Members receive 10% off each purchase. Members must enter the promo code at checkout.
Are There Limitations for the Use of Discount/Promo Codes?
Yes. When using a discount or promo code, you may only use one code per transaction. Codes may not be combined with other discounts, promotions or offers.
(Sales tax, shipping, and handling are not eligible for discounts. Offers are not redeemable for cash or gift cards, and they cannot be applied to previous purchases. Offers apply only to in-stock items. No rainchecks will be issued.)
What is Your Return or Replacement Policy?
Due to the delicate nature of live plants, we are unable to accept returns.
While we are confident you’ll love your plant(s), if you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please email plants@fairchildgarden.org with clear photos within 48 hours of delivery or pick-up so that we may immediately assist you and evaluate your concern.
