Aloe decaryi is a Madagascan species that has tall, thin stems and persistent, open rosettes of pale blue to turquoise, but can also have a slightly reddish hue when exposed to bright sunlight. This aloe grows to 3 inches tall and tends to form a single rosette, but it can develop multiple offsets or "pups".  Aloe decaryi produces striking inflorescences when mature, typically flowering in late winter to early spring. The flower spikes feature tubular, reddish-orange flowers that attract a variety of pollinators. This species primarily grows in rocky, well-draining soils in its native habitat. As a xerophyte, Aloe decaryi is adapted to dry conditions and thrives in full sun to partial shade. (Pot size: 1 gallon)
