Allagoptera caudescens

'Buri Palm' is a tall, slow growing, solitary palm with a height up to 10 meters. It is native to the Atlantic coastal forest of Brazil. Allagoptera caudescens has clustered leaflets with white undersides, and makes an attractive specimen plant at all stages of growth. In South Florida it appears to grow best in full sun with plenty of moisture, but it also tolerates shade. (Pot size: 3 gallon)
