This is a charming small Caribbean spreading shrub that remains low-growing and probably won't exceed 2ft tall. Often called 'damiana', that is drought tolerant, has small scalloped leaves and bright yellow flowers. It is also known to have essential oils in its aromatic leaves. It needs full sun and good drainage and will form a nice border planting or make a great container plant for a sunny balcony or patio. The form we are offering was propagated from a collection from the Bahamas and has much smaller leaves and flowers than typical for mainland forms.
