Solidago stricta, 'Wand Goldenrod', is a great wildflower, native to the West Indies, Mexico, and southeastern United States including South Florida. Add it to a butterfly, wildflower or meadow garden for reliable, low-maintenance annual blooms. Brilliant yellow flower spikes emerge in the fall and reach 3-4 feet.  It will go to seed at the end of the dry season, and may re-seed itself in your garden (though not aggressively). It is a myth that goldenrods aggravate allergies.  This plant requires full sun and is drought tolerant once established. A Native Plant Network Species! (Pot size: 3")
