Schismatoglottis cf. calyptrata

Schismatoglottis cf. calyptrata is a stoloniferous aroid with beautiful variegated leaves that are arranged in a rosette form. The leaf blades are dark green, speckled with irregular spots of silver and cordate to sagittate in shape. The male and female flowers are arranged in a stalked inflorescence. The inflorescence, a spadix, is encased within a pale green, modified, boat-shaped spathe. It is suitable for growing in gardens under shaded or semi-shaded conditions for its attractive leaves and elegant inflorescence. Prefers semi-shade to full shade and moist, well-draining soil.
