Salvia uliginosa

Native to Brazil and Argentina, Bog Sage is a fast growing, upright perennial with willowy stems bearing clusters of sky-blue flowers adorned with white throats. Salvia uliginosa forms an airy thicket, spreads vigorously by rhizomes, and is a perfect addition for the back of a border, where it attracts butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Can grow up to 4 feet tall. Performs best in full sun in moist, well-drained soil. Although named for its preference for moist soil, Bog Sage tolerates dry conditions as well. (Pot size: 1 gallon)
