Ruellia squarrosa

This cheery purple groundcover is native to Mexico and South America. It forms a mass with trailing stems and is adorned with purple flowers. It is the larval host plant for the Common Buckeye butterfly and the Malachite butterfly. (Pot size: 1 gallon)
