This is a rooted cutting from the most beautiful and unique Pandanus at Fairchild. It is a species from the limestone outcrops of south Thailand and has a compact rounded habit with elegantly arching stiff leaves with small orange spines along the leaf edges. It grows slowly but looks very attractive at all stages of growth. It is a female and occasionally produces small red clusters of fruits, though because we lack a mature male plant of this species, the seeds are not viable.
