African Rose Mallow is primarily grown for its stunning foliage. It has maple-like deep purple-burgundy leaves and reddish-pink flowers with dark centers. Their nectar attracts a variety of pollinators, including bees and butterflies. In addition, flowers, young leaves and shoots are edible.
