'Ghost Plant' is a succulent with thick, fleshy leaves that have a ghostly or opalescent appearance. Depending on sun exposure, leaves become pink-tinged in full sun and blueish if grown in partial shade. The leaves form a rosette that measures 3-6 inches across and grow at the tips of the stems, spreading into a low-growing, sprawling colony. Graptopetalum paraguayense will grow to 1 foot tall and 2 to 3 feet wide. The stems continue growing and eventually become pendulous and look nice cascading over stones in a rock garden or spilling out of a container. It also makes a great ground cover. Pruning will give this plant a bushier look. 'Ghost Plant' is easily propagated by rooting leaves, division or stem cuttings. In spring it forms clusters of small star-shaped flowers that are white with small red dots. Grows well in full sun to partial shade. Well-drained soil is a must and once established is drought tolerant. (Pot size: 1 gallon)
