Regular price $12.00 $0.00 Unit price per
  • drought tolerant plant
  • full sun
This is a more compact form of the common pencil plant propagated from a beautiful old specimen in the Spiny Forest of Madagascar plot at Fairchild. In contrast to typical loosely-branching forms in cultivation, it has shorter and thicker stem segments that give rise to more densely-branched upright tree-like stems to about 8ft. It is a coralliform (coral-like) Euphorbia with cylindrical and spineless stems with tiny leaves visible on the new growth that quickly shed. Prefers full sun and excellent drainage, is drought tolerant. (Pot size: 1.5 gallon)
