Euphorbia elliotii is a small shrub, growing up to 5 feet in height. It is in the family Euphorbiaceae, endemic to Madagascar and threatened by habitat loss. Euphorbia elliotii is similiar to E. bongolavensis, but has more upright growth than the umbrella like bongolavensis, thicker stems and whiteish leaf petioles. The flowers are diminutive in size and gather together in a cluster of yellow blooms known as a cyathium. This bushy shrub is easy to grow and very drought tolerant. It is winter and drought deciduous, shedding its leaves and flushing out when conditions change. Prefers full to partial sun and well-draining soil. (Pot size: 1 gallon)
