This is a rare and unusual coralliform (coral-like) Euphorbia native to northern Madagascar. These plants are grown from cuttings from the ISI 2008-17 of the Huntington Botanical Gardens Its stems are cylindrical and spineless with tiny leaves visible on the new growth that quickly shed. It has a distinctive open branching architecture and creates a broad shrub over time. Pruning of the lower branches will reveal its attractive small trunk with fissured bark. Prefers full sun and excellent drainage. (Pot size: 1.5 gallon)
