Callicarpa hitchcockii

This is a lovely  Caribbean native shrub.  Though related to our native beautyberry, Callocarpa americana, this species has a very different appearance and a different role in the landscape.  The small flowers are a light purplish pink, and the foliage has a scent similar to curry. Prefers partial to full sun and a well-draining soil. (Pot size: 1.5 gallon)
