'Myola Palm' is a tall, slender, single-stemmed (solitary) palm with a smooth trunk that can reach about 65 feet in height. It has a long, blue green crown shaft that holds a spreading crown of elegantly arching feather-like (pinnate) leaves. This palm became part of Fairchild’s collection in 1998. Seeds from this parent plant were propagated at the Fairchild Nursery and now this palm is available for sale. Archontophoenix myolensis is native to NE Queensland and is found growing in a gallery forest (corridor along a river). Prefers full sun and moist well-draining soil. (Pot size: 3 gallons)
