Anthurium dombeyanum

Anthurium dombeyanum is a robust ‘Bird’s Nest Anthurium’.  Glossy, dark green leaves grow 3 to 4 feet long and are arranged in a rosette form. The spathe that encases the inflorescence is green and the spadix is purple. The native range of this aroid is Central Ecuador to S. Peru. It is an epiphytic subshrub and grows primarily in a wet tropical biome. Anthurium dombeyanum makes for a dramatic container plant, display plant or an understory filler in a tropical garden. Prefers part shade to full shade and well-draining soil. (Pot size: 3 gallon)
