Anthurium cf. scandens

Anthurium cf. scandens is a small epiphytic Anthurium widely distributed from southern Mexico to Central and South America. This aroid grows a well-developed system of aerial roots to support its fleshy stems. The leaves are elliptical and glossy green. It compares with Anthurium scandens but differs in that its leaves are stiff and more erect and it is not vining. An easy to care for plant, prefers bright, indirect light, regular watering, a little extra humidity and well-draining soil. Place in a container, add to a tropical landscape or mount in a tree.
