This impressive large Agave is only found on the dry side of the island of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. It is endangered, but one of our specimens flowered and made many bulbils (baby plants that are copies of the mother) along its inflorescence that we are offering for the first time. Its leaves can grow over 5 feet tall. Every 10-15 years, the plants flower and the mother plant dies, leaving many offspring. It is drought tolerant and needs plenty of sun.
