Aloe bellatula

Fianarantsoa Aloe is a small stemless clustering aloe with upright dark green leaves that turn a bronze color in the sun. The leaf surfaces are covered with rough bumps and white spots, and tiny soft teeth on the leaf margins. The 1-2 foot long unbranched inflorescence displays bright coral-red bell-shaped flowers with pale petal tips that hang downwards towards the end. Aloe bellatula prefers full sun and well-draining soil. A native of Madagascar, it is used to relatively dry conditions. Avoid overwatering. (Pot size: 6" pot)
