Zombia antillarum - Medium

Native to Hispaniola, this fan-leaf palm has trunks enveloped in a fibrous mat that produces rings of spines 1” to 1½”. The leaves are deep green with silver beneath. A clustering palm, it will grow readily in a sunny position with good drainage. (Pot size: 4 gallon)
