Casasia clusiifolia, 'Seven-Year Apple', is a medium/large dioecious shrub native to South Florida, Cuba, and The Bahamas. Its big and shiny dark green leaves and star-like white flowers make it an attractive plant to add to your yard. It is also tolerant of drought, low nutrient conditions, and even some salt, as it typically grows in coastal habitats. In the coffee family Rubiaceae like Gardenia, the flowers of the 'Seven-Year Apple' also have a delicate fragrance.  It is the host plant to the Tantalus Sphinx moth. Prefers full sun to light shade and well-draining soil. (Pot size: 1 gallon)
