A Marlon special, this common ‘Guava’ is an evergreen tropical shrub or small tree growing up to 20 feet in height, and grows well in South Florida. Native to the tropical Americas, it is cultivated for its edible fruit. The fruit is botanically a berry, containing many seeds. It is round and yellow-skinned with a sweet, pink flesh. The bark of the tree is attractive with a mottled greenish-brown color. The flowers are fragrant, showy and white. Plant in full sun for the best growth and fruit production. (Pot size: 3 gallon)
