Sterculia urens

Ghost Tree is a medium-sized deciduous tree with fuzzy purple young leaves and an inflorescence made up of "clouds "of tiny flowers. It seems to have excellent hurricane tolerance so far. These are seedlings from a tree collected on limestone in Thailand in the 1990s. (Pot size: 3 gallon)
