Sanchezia sanmartinensis

Tail Feathers is a rare tropical Sanchezia from Peru with solid green leaves covered with short, fine hairs. It grows upright to about 6 ft high. Tubular red flowers emerge from the russet-red hairy bracts and these attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Sanchezia sanmartinensis prefers full shade to part shade and rich, moist well-draining soil. (Pot size: 3 gallon)
