Passiflora multiflora is a Florida native growing in rockland and tropical hammock habitats. It is a high climbing vine that blooms summer to fall, producing hundreds of flowers at once, often in several flushes throughout the year. The flowers are small, greenish-white. Fruits are blue-black and are eaten by birds and other wildlife. Passiflora multiflora is a larval host plant for the Julia Butterfly (Dryas Julia), providing a place where they can feed, lay their eggs and provide food for their newly hatched larvae. Plant in full sun to partial shade in well-draining soil. (Pot size: 2 gallon)
