This is a select clone of Amorphophallus paeoniifolius named after its original owner, Bob deLaney. This clone is larger-growing than typical forms, with leaves reaching over 6ft tall and 9ft in diameter. Each underground corm produces one or two leaves at a time and these go dormant each year. The corms produces smaller offsets that eventually creates a clump and the offsets can be removed for propagation. This species thrives in the ground in South Florida and eventually produces a large dark purple foul-smelling inflorescence. It can grow in full sun or part shade and may require extra water in dry periods. (Pot size: 3 gallon)
