The dark, maroon-colored leaves of this plant are highlighted with silvery veins. It makes a fantastic terrarium or humid windowsill specimen. It eventually forms a cluster of stems about a foot high and produces beautiful lavender flowers. This does best in bright filtered light and the leaf color is darker with brighter light. It likes well-drained soil and can also grow as an epiphyte. (Pot size: 1 gallon)
