Gynura pseudochina

Gynura pseudochina is a member of the sunflower family whose native range spans from Tropical Africa to the south of China.  It is used in traditional medicine in Thailand.  The leaves are dark purple with contrasting light green veins.  It is an excellent butterfly attractor.  Prefers full sun to part shade and well draining soil.
