Begonia rex-cultorum

'Painted-Leaf Begonia' is a rhizomatous perennial displaying colorful and uniquely patterned silver-green leaves with tinges of pink and dark-green margins. Flowers are pale pink and insignificant. The foliage is the main attraction. Begonia rex-cultorum requires high humidity and prefers a porous planting mix in a shallow pot. Avoid over-watering; allow top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. Provide bright, indirect light. Begonia rex-cultorum is best used as a container or basket plant. It makes a wonderful addition to a shaded deck or patio garden or as an attractive indoor plant if provided the proper growing environment. (Pot size: 6")
